The Hitchen House located in the CBD portrays the spirit of the digger, with a collection of Boer War, WWI, WWII, Vietnam and the 1915/1916 recruitment marches memorabilia on display.
Along the Gilgandra Newell route is the historic village of Tooraweenah, nestled in the foothills of the Warrumbungles, meander through the scenic Warrumbungle Tourist Drive onto Coonabarabran.
