The Newell Highway
Producer/presenter Greg Grainger experiences gliding the thermals over West Wyalong, and follows the Gold Trail from the state’s biggest gold mine to the town of Grenfell where a Gold Festival is taking place.
Greg will take to the clouds in a hot air balloon ride above Orange before exploring the universe from internationally recognized telescopes ‘The Dish’ in Parkes and the Siding Spring Observatories.
Other highlights include the natural wonder of the Warrumbungles, a group of Elvis look-alike in Parkes, hot artesian springs in Narrabri and a food and wine festival in Orange.
